David Archuleta Unveils George Michael Star Dedication

David Archuleta partnered with the famous LGBTQ+ non-profit Project Angel Food to unveil George Michael’s star on their Path of Angels. Project Angel Food is a monumental organization that delivered meals to those living with HIV/AIDS during the height of its crisis. George Michael volunteered in person at the non-profit right after coming out as gay and brought massive media attention to their mission.

David Archuleta gave a heartfelt tribute to George Michael and talked about how huge of an inspiration Michael is to him on his own coming-out journey. He spoke about George’s critical impact on the entire LGTBQ+ community.

“George Michael shattered barriers and defied stereotypes. His honesty became a beacon of hope for countless members of our community yearning for acceptance in a society that often dictated our identities for us.”
